You might ask about:
- spending this month
- fuel costs last 30 days
- trips taken this year
- food spending between June and August
The assistant is designed to understand many of these natural date phrases automatically.

Common examples

- this week
- this month
- last month
- this year
- last year
- past 30 days
- last 6 months
- between January and March
- in 2024
Rolling ranges
Section titled “Rolling ranges”A rolling range moves with time.
For example:
- last 30 days
- past 90 days
- last 6 months
These are especially useful when you want a moving picture of spending and travel patterns rather than a fixed calendar month.
Why date ranges matter
Section titled “Why date ranges matter”They let you ask natural questions instead of building filters by hand.
Examples:
- “How much did I spend on fuel last month?”
- “Show campsite spending this year.”
- “How much did I spend in Spain over the last 90 days?”
